Day Care Services

SheffCare operates a number of day centres attached to our residential care facilities throughout Sheffield, where you can spend time enjoying yourself with people your own age, learning new skills or continuing your hobbies, with support and assistance if required in a warm, safe and friendly environment.

Each of our day centres is equipped to support older people during the daytime, and provides a range of services including;

• Personal care
• Lunch
• Social activities
• Entertainment and outings
• Door-to-door transport

Day care can be funded by the Social Services Department where an assessment establishes that an individual can continue to manage in their own home as long as day care is provided, or where the carer is under stress.
