The following charges are applicable from 7th April 2008:

Cotleigh Care Home Fees

Higher dependency facilities	£404.00 per week
EMI facilities	£416.00 per week

All SheffCare Homes Fees (excluding Cotleigh)

Standard (long stay or respite)	£327.00 - £350.00 per week
Higher dependency facilities	£360.00 - £383.00 per week
EMI facilities	£368.00 - £395.00 per week

PLEASE NOTE: SheffCare Limited reserve the right to increase these fees within 28 days of written notice.

Residential Care

The weekly charge includes the following;

All meals
Personal care
Fully furnished room with bedding and linen
Laundry services
Basic toiletries
A range of activities, entertainment and trips (you may be asked to contribute towards the cost of some trips)
Insurance of personal belongings and money (to a set level)

You will also have access, via the N.H.S., to;

Chiropody
Opticians
Dentistry
District Nurse
GP

The following services will be made readily available to you, though you will be asked to pay for the services yourself;

Hairdressing
Private Chiropody
Holidays
Own choice of toiletries
Clothing
Cigarettes
TV Licence (concessionary)
Specific newspapers and magazines
Private telephone
Additional insurance requirements

Funding

If you do need to go into a residential home, or you need support at home, there are many ways that you might get help towards paying the fees.

The Local Authority may pay some of the cost and you may be able to claim extra Social Security benefits.

The weekly charge payable by yourself will depend on your own financial circumstances (i.e. your savings and income). This can be a complex issue, and you are advised to get further advice on your own particular circumstances from the following sources;
