Sheffcare Homes meeting National Standards
The Care Quality Commission regulates and is responsible for inspecting all registered social care services in England
The Care Quality Commission regulates and is responsible for inspecting all registered social care services in England. We are delighted to report that four out of Sheffcare’s eleven homes have been inspected over the past 3 months and all homes met all the essential standards of quality and safety. The inspector was able to observe people’s experiences of living in the home and their interactions with each other and the staff. Residents were fully involved in the process and were asked to comment on various aspects of home life:
“I have no worries, without exception the care staff are excellent”
“the staff always take time to chat and ask me how I am. I couldn’t wish for better”
“staff know what I like and don’t like – they listen to me”
“I get all the help I need and staff help me to remain independent”
The inspector commented that “staff treated people in a kind manner and spoke to them patiently and respectfully”
All inspection reports are available for you to see on CQC’s website www.cqc.org.uk
At Sheffcare, we are very proud of our reputation for continuing to provide excellent care and would like to thank our team of dedicated staff across all homes who make this happen day in and day out.
