Hawkhills residents go wild!
They may not be the sort of guests you’d normally find at a residential home…but there was no need to get in a flap when the Meadowhall Raptor Centre brought some of its more unusual breeds for a visit to Hawkhills Residential Care Home at Stannington!
Residents and daycentre visitors had the chance to see the Centre’s rare wild birds at close quarters - an experience most of us haven't had - and were absolutely intrigued.
“We were delighted to welcome the Meadowhall Raptor Centre,” said Hawkhills manager Ann Cullen. “Our residents always enjoy this sort of visit and for many it will have been the first time they have come into such close contact with these wonderful creatures.”
