Burnt Tree Croft, consistently rated as 'Excellent' by the Care Quality Commission, the health and social care regulator for England, offers first-rate care in a comfortable, supportive environment for those with a range of needs from Dementia to FMI, (Functionally Mentally ill). The home feels cosy and personal with two floors; each with its own dining and sitting areas. You will have your own bedroom with shared facilities on your corridor. Many of our bedrooms have television and telephone points so that you may stay in regular contact with your family and friends and can watch your favourite programmes at your leisure. To ensure that you feel at home you may also wish to furnish your bedroom with your own pieces of furniture. There are smaller residents’ kitchens where you, a relative or a friend can make a cup of tea or a light snack. There is also a larger communal area where you can get together with other residents for entertainment, activities or just a chat. In addition to its television lounges Burnt Tree Croft has quiet rooms where you can sit and read your paper with no disturbances. Burnt Tree Croft also has its own room dedicated to hairdressing with a local hairdresser visiting regularly during the week.
We also can arrange your regular check- ups with the optician; dentist and chiropodist. Newspapers are delivered daily should you wish, although many of our residents enjoy the short walk to the local shops. The tram is also nearby should you want to venture further afield.The residential home has its own easily accessible outside seating area at the front where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air and watch people go by.
At Burnt Tree Croft we are not just a residential home. Other services include:
• day care facility
• short term or overnight care (respite)
• escorted hospital visits or doctor’s appointments
• specially adapted baths and help with bathing (including for non-residents)
• help with shopping or laundry
• help with sorting out funding and finance
