Choosing a care home for yourself or a loved one can be an emotionally challenging time.
To ensure that you are choosing the best home that will suit your needs, make sure you visit a number of homes so that you get a better idea as to what is available. All 11 SheffCare homes across Sheffield have an ‘open-door’ policy which means that you can visit when it is convenient to you. However, if you want to be sure to meet our Registered Managers, you may need to ring to ensure that they are available.
To help you make the right choice we have created a Checklist to ensure you remember to ask the right questions and have the conversation about what is important to you. It will probably not cover everything you want to know, so, at the bottom of the Checklist there is space for you to add your own further questions. Print it off and take it with you when you visit a home.
