Grange Crescent, consistently rated as 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission, the health and social care regulator for England, offers excellent care in comfortable surroundings. You will have a large bedroom with en-suite facilities, including a walk-in shower. Each bedroom has television and telephone points so that you may stay in regular contact with your family and friends and can watch your favourite programmes at your leisure. To ensure that you feel at home you may also wish to furnish your bedroom with your own pieces of furniture and personal possessions.
Grange Crescent feels cosy and personal with two floors; each with its own dining and sitting areas. There are smaller residents’ kitchens where you, a relative or a friend can make a cup of tea or a light snack. There are also larger communal areas where you can get together with other residents to enjoy the regular entertainment, activities or just a chat. In addition to its television lounges Grange Crescent has quiet rooms where you can sit and read your paper with no disturbances.
Grange Crescent also has its own room dedicated to hairdressing with a local hairdresser visiting once during the week. We can arrange regular visits from chiropodists, dentists and opticians. Grange also benefits from internet access where you may stay in touch with family and friends abroad.
The residential home stands in beautiful, mature secluded gardens to all sides where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air or do some light gardening.
At Grange Crescent we are not just a residential home. Other services include:
• day care facility
• short term or overnight care (respite)
• escorted hospital visits or doctor’s appointments
• specially adapted baths and help with bathing (including for non-residents)
• help with shopping or laundry
So, if you are the carer or relative of an older person and would like to take some time away, we will ensure you can go safe in the knowledge that you loved one is in safe hands.
