I have over 30 years experience in the care sector, having previously worked with Sheffield City Council and at Middlewood Hospital. One of my responsibilities as Registered Manager is to lead and work with my team to provide an exceptional standard of care for older people and to ensure residents and day care users enjoy life whilst practising their daily life skills.
I recognise the importance of family support as my mum is now living in a care home; so I have insight in to both sides of working and being a relative. I was born and raised in Sheffield and my spare time is spent with my children and grandchildren. My hobbies include gardening, walking, cinema, travel and a little retail therapy.
