Paddock Hill
Paddock Hill offers excellent care in comfortable surroundings. You will have a bedroom with shared facilities on your corridor. Each bedroom has television and telephone points so that you may stay in regular contact with your family and friends and can watch your favourite programmes at your leisure. To ensure that you feel at home you may also wish to furnish your bedroom with your own pieces of furniture.
Paddock Hill feels cosy and personal with three floors; each with its own dining and sitting areas. There are smaller residents’ kitchens where you, a relative or a friend can make a cup of tea or a light snack. There is also a larger communal area where you can get together with other residents for entertainment, activities or just a chat. In addition to its television lounges Paddock Hill has quiet rooms where you can sit and read your paper with no disturbances.
Paddock Hill also has its own room dedicated to hairdressing with a local hairdresser visiting once a week. The residential home has its own easily accessible terrace area where you can sit and enjoy the fresh air.
At Paddock Hill we are not just a residential home. Other services include:
• day care facility
• short term or overnight care
• escorted hospital visits or doctor’s appointments
• specially adapted baths and help with bathing
• help with shopping or laundry
So, if you are the carer or relative of an older person and would like to take some time away, we will ensure you can go safe in the knowledge that you loved one is in safe hands.
